Beginners Computer Tuition…

We can teach you even if you’ve never even switched a computer on! Assist Computing have courses aimed at starting from the very beginning – no knowledge needed.

Whether you feel you’d learn better in a group or would rather have one to one computer tuition specially tailored for you we can help! With private tuition we can go as slow as you like, you can ask as many questions as you like and we can go over a subject as many times as you like. In a group you can meet other people and learn together, helping one another along the way – we’ll even throw in the tea and biscuits!

Here are a couple of our courses that may be of interest to beginners – these are run as group courses but can easily be tailored to suit private tuition. Don’t worry if you haven’t yet purchased a computer, you can still have one to one tuition in our computer training room using our equipment, we could even help you source the right computer or laptop once you are ready to buy!

Basic Computers for Beginners:

This course would suit all adult learners wishing to start using a computer for the first time or following a long break from computing. Particularly popular with over 50′s that may be purchasing their first computer.

Internet and Email:

This course would suit people with basic knowledge of the computer enviroment wishing to gain further knowledge, this course is also aimed as a follow-on from our Basic Computers for Beginners course.

Private Computer Tuition in your home. We will travel to you and teach exactly what YOU want to learn on your own computer. You set the pace & choose what you learn on a one 2 one basis.

Discount Tuition with our ‘bring your own laptop’ scheme. If you can travel to our office with your laptop we can offer one to one or couples tuition at a discounted price. You set the pace & choose what you learn.

Group Computer Tuition. Either in a group you set (upto 6 people) or in one of our set group tuition subjects such as Computer Basics or Internet & Email aimed mainly at the over 50′s but open to all ages.. An affordable option for people who wish to meet new friends whilst learning.
